CASTLEHOPPERS QUICK REVIEW
⭐ Rating: 4/5
💰 Price: ~$902/night for Club Level during our stay ($650/night for standard view)
📍 Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Walking distance to Disneyland Parks, but we prefer the locations of the Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian
👨👩👧👦 Family-friendly: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Comfortable setup for our family of four, elevators weren’t the most convenient.
🔁 Would we return? Yes to the hotel, but probably not Club Level
If you’re considering staying at Pixar Place Hotel, you may be wondering what the rooms are actually like—especially if you’re thinking about booking a Club Level room.
Our family of four stayed in a Club Level room at Pixar Place Hotel, and here’s our quick review of the room, including the layout, amenities, theming, view, and whether we thought it was worth the price.
🛏️ Room Size & Layout

Our Club Level room had a fairly standard hotel-room layout with two queen beds, a bathroom, and a small seating area.
For our family of four, there was enough space for everyone to be comfortable. We did feel that the seating area was arranged in a way that made for awkward open space, but it was a nice area for the kids to play with their toys.
🛏️ Beds

The room had two queen beds, which comfortably accommodated our family of four. There was also a sofa that could be converted into a pull-out bed, giving the room some additional flexibility for larger families or groups.
The beds were comfortable, and we liked having multiple sleeping options, especially when traveling with young kids.
🚿 Bathroom

The bathroom had a clean, modern feel.
The setup was functional for a family, although, as with most standard Disney hotel rooms, having one bathroom can require a little coordination when everyone is getting ready for the parks.
🧳 Storage

Storage was plenty and of course the thing we love about Disney Hotels are all the storage under the beds (large enough to fit most double strollers, although are large double stroller didn’t quit fit too easily)
🎨 Pixar Theming
One of my favorite things about Pixar Place Hotel is that the Pixar theming is incorporated throughout the room without making it feel overly themed.
You’ll find Pixar-inspired details and artwork throughout the space, which gives the room some Disney personality while still feeling like a modern hotel room.
🏨 Amenities
The room had the standard amenities you’d expect from a Disney Resort hotel, including:
- Television
- Mini refrigerator
- Coffee setup
- Bathroom toiletries
- Hair dryer
- In-room storage
- Wi-Fi
And because we were staying Club Level, we also had access to the Creators Club lounge, which provided breakfast, snacks, drinks, and an evening food offering.
For our family, the convenience of having the lounge just an elevator ride away was one of the biggest benefits of booking Club Level.
👀 The View

Our room had a standard view, so this wasn’t the room category to book if having a great view is important to you.
After staying here, I think I would personally prioritize a better view over Club Level on a future stay.
👍🏼 What We Liked
✔️ Comfortable for a family of four
The two queen beds and practical layout worked well for our family.
✔️ Fun Pixar details
The theming made the room feel distinctly Disney without being over-the-top.
✔️ Convenient Club Level access
Having the Creators Club just downstairs made grabbing coffee, breakfast, or an evening snack very convenient.
✔️ Modern feel
The room felt clean and updated, which we appreciated.
👎🏼 Any Drawbacks?

The biggest drawback for us wasn’t necessarily the room itself—it was the additional cost of booking Club Level.
During our stay, a standard-view room was about $650/night, while our Club Level room was about $902/night.
That’s approximately $252 more per night for access to the Creators Club.
After experiencing it, we didn’t feel the Club Level upgrade provided enough additional value for our family. (blog review coming soon!.. or watch our full Creators Club Review)
💰 Price

For our peak Halloween weekend stay:
Standard View Room: ~$650/night
Club Level Room: ~$902/night
Club Level Upgrade: ~$252/night
Prices at Pixar Place Hotel can vary significantly depending on your dates, so I would definitely compare the cost of Club Level with the standard room rate before booking.
⭐ Quick Take
Would we stay at Pixar Place Hotel again? Yes.
Would we book Club Level again? Probably not.
We liked the room and thought it was comfortable and well-designed for our family of four. However, given the price difference, we’d personally rather put that extra money toward a better room view or toward food and experiences during our Disneyland trip.
If you’re deciding between a standard room and Club Level, I’d recommend looking at the price difference for your specific dates and deciding how much you’ll actually use the Creators Club.
Overall: 👍 Good room, but we’d skip the Club Level upgrade next time.
